被誉为澳洲版“乱世佳人”的《澳洲乱世情》（原名《澳大利亚》）近日确定于2009年1月28日在我国上映。由《红磨坊》导演巴兹·鲁尔曼执导，集合两位来自澳大利亚的好莱坞明星——奥斯卡影后妮可·基德曼和年度性感男人休·杰克曼主演。该片讲述了一段史诗般的爱情故事，片中风景之美堪称是澳大利亚宣传片。

悉尼歌手Angela Little（别名Ophelia of the Spirits）被选为电影主题曲的演唱者，歌曲《By The Boab Tree》由Felix Meagher、Baz Luhrmann以及Angela Little本人参与创作。Ophelia of the Spirits的个人首张EP于12月6日发行，第二张EP将于09年年初投放市场。
