Nightcore是一个2002-2003年活跃在挪威DJ组合。其音乐风格为将欧陆舞曲、Trance和Hands up歌曲加速25%至每分钟160-180拍，加速亦令歌声声调相应提高。及后有人把Nightcore的作品上传到YouTube后又自行模仿Nightcore把舞曲、Trance和Techno歌曲加速，并以Nightcore作为风格名称，上传到YouTube，直到现在Nightcore已发展成一种流行在网上的舞曲风格。然而，Nightcore己被滥用成「把歌加速（和提高音调）」的代名词。事实上Nightcore中的core原意是快乐硬核，即有起过每分钟160拍的硬核音乐，而流行音乐、摇滚音乐、乡村音乐和动漫音乐等并不是电子舞曲，也没有Nightcore需要的硬核节奏，所以加速了也不能亦不应称为Nightcore。

组合介绍
Nightcore由两名挪威Alta市的DJ组成，Thomas S. Nilse (DJ TNT)和Steffen Ojala Søderholm (DJ SOS)。他们是因为一次学校习作而用Dance eJay做了Nightcore第一作。当他们被告知一首作品分数会是4+，他们就做了就成了第一张唱片Energized，包含13首歌，而习作就得了6分。
他们为自己起了Nightcore这组合名，「『Nightcore』代表我们是夜晚的核心，让你彻夜跳舞。」。其音乐风格其音乐风格为将欧陆舞曲、Trance和Techno歌曲加速25%至每分钟160-180拍，加速亦令歌声声调相应提高。歌曲加速后节拍有如快乐硬核般快，令音乐更「快乐」和更有节奏感。
有了组合名字，Nightcore自行发行了首张唱片Energized。之后Nightcore用更先进的音乐製作软体，在2002年至2003年间先后发行了多四张唱片包括：Summer Edition2002，L’hiver，Sensaciòn和Caliente。他们将唱片卖给了当地的DJ，和任何对他们音乐有兴趣的人。

由于Nightcore前三张唱片的知名度不高，除了封面图片就找不到其他资料，只有后两张才较知名，资料保存较好，有完整的曲目。在Sensaciòn和Caliente前的歌曲包括Angie L.C.的Don’t Let Me Down和East Clubbers的Walk Alone。

Nightcore是令欧陆舞曲、Trance和Techno歌曲加速25%至每分钟160-180拍，达到快乐硬核的节奏，以强而急速的低音鼓和拍子製造出强烈的节奏感。加速的过程中亦令歌声声调相应提高。例如Nightcore名作Dam Dadi Doo原由Fantasy Project所作并由N.D.A.以低沈的男声演唱，在Nightcore之手下就成了女孩般的声线。
