MV内容
该曲MV讲述的主要是由Hailey Rowe在MV中饰演的女主角与其男友的性取向故事。整支MV始终贯穿喜剧元素与人文主义的情怀，MV开始的15秒之内都是两人在秀恩爱，(当然还是男主"是异性恋"的时候)。随后两人在打电话，内容从歌词来看应该是男主生日女主找他出去玩而男主说有事没去，结果在酒吧不期而遇。从而引出了MV的和谐内容也就是歌曲名字《My Boyfriend Is Gay》。男主身着变装皇后礼服，头戴王冠，吧檯和基友们谈笑风生。不料一个转身看到了女主这时他还身着条幅头戴王冠。条幅上面是Birthday Girl(这幺说男主是受。。)。女主和她的小伙伴们都惊呆了！男主此时慌忙地摘掉了王冠和条幅并上前解释，然后女主被她的小伙伴们拉走了。男主携基友随即和女主的小伙伴们展开了一场Dance Show最后男主以一个"So What"的造型结尾。
然后从一分半的位置开始了MV的第二段：男主在卫生间里用睫毛夹玩的不亦乐乎，女主这时进来发现了。男主尴尬地试图解释却又在铁证如山的事实面前显得苍白无力。MV的画面随后转到了沙发上面，女主要亲吻男主。（目测是舌吻）男主却急忙避开只是象徵性地亲吻了一下女主的脸颊。中间的厨房元素是男主在卖萌- -更多是彰显他贤良淑德的一面，也为后面埋下了伏笔。男主正在目不转睛地盯着电脑萤幕上面的猛男，女主又像在浴室时不知不觉地出现了。男主的GAY身份进一步被证实。随后进入副歌。也开始了男主的"街钓"。
在街上与女主散步的过程中，女主蹲下来了一会去照顾小狗，男主成功地与这名红衣帅哥眉目传情。然后MV中出现的是一些琐碎的片段，像在杂誌店，美甲店，还有两人在草坪上的吃朱古力和吹泡泡这样一些相对温馨的画面。
MV的最后出现的是男主女主以及红衣帅哥三人坐在沙发上面的和谐场景。预示着男主已经出柜，并有情人终成眷属而女主也已经坦然接受的事实。
从MV中我们不难看出女主的善良和对男主的爱，最后放手让男主去追寻自己的真正的幸福。就像梁静茹歌词中唱的一样“不再为爱而爱”而是为了爱不爱。同时这个MV也显示出了西方对待同性恋的开放态度及理解程度。
