创作背景
菸鬼乐队成员安德鲁·塔格特在一次航班上构思出了该首歌曲的Drop。受到摇滚乐队The XX和天空大爆炸的作品启发后，菸鬼组合将带有回音效果的吉他音加入了歌中。随后，埃米莉·沃伦和斯科特·哈里斯和菸鬼乐队在一起写出了完整的旋律和歌词。
直到歌曲要完成时，安德鲁·塔加特依然没有想到找谁来录製该首歌曲的人声。在听了黛雅的《Hide Away》之后，菸鬼乐队将她邀请到了录音棚录製了歌曲的人声部分。
